WILL & GEORGE GO TO THE UAE WITH DURHAM ACADEMY.
OLIVIA RETAINED IN THE 2024 NORTHERN DIAMONDS ACADEMY.
We are delighted to report that Will Alexander & George Gray have been selected, among a party of 18, to represent the Durham Academy competing in the U17 section of the Gulf Cup, United Arab Emirates, from 2nd to 12th January 2024. Both Will & George made their 1st X1 league debuts at South North in 2023.
The squad will be based in Ajman playing at venues across the UAE. The tour party comprises:
Charlie Franklin (Gateshead Fell), Zac Smith (Whitburn), Jack Dalton (Crook), Jim Twiddy (Durham City), Thomas Briggs (Durham City), Isaac Tate (Rockcliffe Park), Lucas Nixon (Boldon), Mahad Uzair (South Shields), Teddy Minto (Norton), George Gray (South Northumberland), Will Alexander (South Northumberland), Faizan Ghumann (Furness), Zac Mawdsley (Hazelrigg).
The tour will be led by John Windows (Academy Director) supported by Cole Pearce & Stuart Poynter.
We also offer many congratulations to Olivia Miller who has been retained in the Northern Diamonds Academy squad for 2024.
