SNCC 37-1 (11o) Jacob McCord 22*, Belinda Wewalage 4, Jan Ozmen 9*:Taylor 0-27, Scattergood 1-10.
Abandoned after 11 overs: SNCC 5 points, Newton 5.
A disappointment for the 64's as persistent rain caused the abandonment of the game at Mowden Hall School, Newton's home ground, after only 11 overs having been off twice in that time.
Belinda (4) was lbw to Scattergood at 6 in the second over but Jacob 22* (32b, 1x4,1x6) & Jan 9* (27b, 2x4) pushed the score along nicely until the rain intervened.
This result leaves the 1864's still in 4th position in Division 1 on 212 points with 3 games to go.
