Indoor Centre

South Northumberland CC(SNCC) are committed to providing excellent facilities and in 2003 we built an indoor cricket centre (known as the North-East Cricket Academy - NECA) to encourage cricket participation and support cricketing excellence. This is a unique regional and local community facility, used by many players from across the area and we are fortunate to have this available for club use.

As you know, work was recently undertaken to update and completely refurbish the NECA, which we are pleased to confirm is now complete. The facility boasts a new floor, lighting, and netting, which will create a significantly improved experience for users. We aim to use this facility to support the development of all cricket but especially Women and Girls cricket, both at SNCC and across the region, working closely with the Northumberland Cricket Board (NCB).

The refurbishment project has taken a huge amount of energy and effort. Roger Griffiths and Sachin Khanna have given their time selflessly to achieve an outstanding success, thank you on behalf of everyone at SNCC! We are also indebted to the English and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and NCB for their guidance and support. We look forward to working closely with both organisations going forward. Finally, thank you to project management firm RNJ and contractor Durant Cricket who have delivered the project with professionalism and expertise.

NECA is very well booked, and we look forward to you being able to use this excellent facility in the coming months.
