How the 2021 season starts at SNCC

This weekend is the 2nd team Banks Cup final on the 10th of April v Benwell Hill played at SNCC behind closed doors. The 1st team squad take on Ashington on the Sunday (11th April) in a preseason game. 

The 12th of April is a friendly T20 v Tynemouth. This is opening night for the bar too and it shall remain open from this point. The club have put up a marquee for the season on the “wedge”. We welcome members, friends and family to come enjoy the facilities.

The 15th of April is another T20 friendly at home to Morpeth. 

The 17th of April is the start of the NEPL season.

The 1st Team play Hetton Lyons (away) and the 2nd Team are at home to Ashington.

The 18th of April is a home final for the SNCC Academy v Washington from last year! This match will see Owen Hollins skipper the side in the quest for a trophy with appointed 3rd team captain for the 2021 season, Patrick Hatcher, in the ranks.

In 2021 we are back to our full array of teams and the South North 1864s will play in the West Tyne League. The team’s first fixture will be on Saturday the 24th of April. This team with play its home matches at Greenside having moved from Matfen. 

Sunday the 25th of April is the SNCC Academy’s first league game. This side will be coached on match day by our director of coaching Steve Chapman.

The first women’s fixture is on Wednesday the 12th of May with a home friendly. 

Tom Seymour captains the Roseworth Bulls on Thursday nights. T20 matches. The first fixture is the 6th of May.
