South North CC in the period to 17 May 2021

We welcome opposition teams and will try and accommodate them as safely as we can. Please find below the plan we have in place to ensure all players, officials, volunteers and those attending our hospitality area remain safe in line with ECB and Government guidance and guidelines.

Arrival.

Those attending our hospitality area will need to comply with our rules and will be required to sign in.

There will be signage on entry and exit detailing our rules to follow.

We will have Covid officers at all fixtures.  Please follow their instructions at all times.

No person showing symptoms is permitted. Please remind all those you anticipate that may attend not to do so if they display any symptoms or are required to isolate. If symptoms develop during the game then please follow government guidelines.

 

Parking.

Please park on Moor Road North as parking inside the ground is required for officials and club employees. Please access the club through the bottom gate on Moor Road North.

 

Note.

We are operating a one-way system to access the playing area.

Club house is closed at present.

Toilets. Please follow instructions.

 

Players.

Please follow the instruction to your allocated area.

Home team to use home dressing room for toilets and marquee for shelter

Away team please use the indoor school walkway accessed from the playing field as bag drop and toilets on ground level.

Players must arrive dressed ready to play the game. No dressing rooms are open.

Players must not dress or undress in public.

Batting and wicket keeping pads must be put on outside.

No shelter can be provided in the event of inclement weather. In such event please return to your cars.

No teas will be provided.

Please adhere to government guidelines on social distancing at all times and use common sense to avoid the risk of spreading infection.

Whilst sanitiser will be provided for sanitisation breaks we advise that all those attending provide their own sanitiser for all other times.

 

Umpires.

Umpires will have access to the toilets in the downstairs away changing room accessed from the field of play.

 

Scorers.

Only one scorer allowed in score box, provision has been made for visiting scorer, in the link passage just outside the door with a great view of the ground.

This will be advised on arrival.

 

Spectators.

Under current restrictions spectators are not allowed to attend matches.

Please do not sit on benches purposely tipped upside down to discourage spectating.

One parent or guardian will be permitted to attend for each under 18 or disabled player playing in the match if their attendance is required for safeguarding purposes. They will not be required to remain in the hospitality area and seating will be provided. Please let yourself be known to one of our Covid officers.

 

 

Outdoor Hospitality.

We have a capacity of up to 100 people depending upon group sizes per table in accordance with government guidelines. Unfortunately, if at capacity we cannot permit further entry.

If no seats are available, anyone not able to be seated in our hospitality are will unfortunately be asked to leave the facility.

Visitors can watch cricket only whilst attending for hospitality purposes and from the allocated outdoor hospitality area.

Note: only table service available. All attendees must be seated except when paying or using the toilet facilities. When not seated a mask must be worn.

Please conform to Gov guidelines on social distancing

Visitors will be asked for contact details in line with track and trace guidelines. (failure to supply details will result in being asked to leave the ground).

Members and members guests are welcome as well as members and guests of the opposition.

 

These are just a few of the principal points which must always be adhered to. Please follow the instructions of our Covid officers at all times and please be courteous when doing so – they are carrying out a difficult function to ensure the safety of all attending and the continuance of competitive league cricket.
