At 33 Beal (3) was caught by Fletcher at slip off Paton & at 35, McCord had the left handed, obdurate Hutchinson (17, 63b), taken by w/k Ewart. Yaqoob (1) went at 40, caught by Fletcher at mid off, driving Khan's leg spin.

3 runs later Kumar (1) was well caught by Charnley as a hook flew to fine leg off McCord. A brief lull but at 65 Winslow (11) was bowled by Ryan Sid's medium pace & two runs later Dinsdale (0) suffered a similar fate. Sanderson & Bowman fashioned a partnership of 35 for the 9th wicket before Bowman (11) was bowled by Khan, 102 for 9, & at the same score in the 39th over, the valiant Sanderson (37, 66b, 5x4) was bowled by Davidson.

The Bulls response was emphatic. Smith, Yaqoob, Hutchinson, Bowman & Collins toiled as Ru Fletcher 75* (61b, 11x4 to all parts) & Alex Charnley (24*, 43b, 2x4) put together an unbeaten opening partnership of 103 in 20 overs to win the game by 10 wickets.
