A sunny day at Roseworth Terrace the Bulls, missing Cragg & Crozier, welcomed back Rob Peyton & Ru Fletcher, won the toss & invited the visitors to bat.

The right handed Debnam & Kimmett faced Wightman (Park) & Tindale (Grove). A run out chance in over one but Nik's throw too quick for the back up & 5 conceded. Better in the 3rd as Wightman first ball sent Kimmitt's (1) off stump into orbit, 8-1. Two down in the next as Debnam (6) edged Sean low to second slip where Hewi took an excellent catch.

An eventful 8th over from Sean saw 4 leg byes, 3 wides & the wicket of Ntuli (10) when a leading edge lobbed to Jonny at mid off. Two balls later Poynter (0), to his dismay, was adjudged lbw to Sean, 28-4.

Another eventful over from Jonny went for 14 & Nik's short 2 over spell for 13 before Calum & Oli joined the attack. 85-2 after 20 overs as Snowden & Bowman settled, punctuated by a 6 to square leg off Oli.

In the 23rd Snowden (29, 49b,1x4) was bowled by one that nipped back from Calum, 96-5. 100-5 after the 25th over, Birty's first. The rate was at 3's, Sean had a two over spell before Oli returned & in his first, the 33rd, Bowman (42,75b, 3x4, 2x6) was bowled attempting a reverse sweep.

Over 34 saw Smith (3) spectacularly run out by a direct hit from Nik, closing in from backward square to throw down the non striker's stumps, 122-7. At the same score in the 35th, Jones (0) mistimed Birty to Sean at mid off. Foreman (17*) survived a chance to deep square leg off Oli but the in the 39th Birty bowled Stanyon (7) attacking & next ball had Pollard (0) lbw playing no shot, 132 all out in 38.4 overs.

Moseley & Birtwisle faced the seam of Jones & the brisk off spin of Ntuli. 10 from the first set the tone. Shayne had a life at 15 when a chance to short fine leg at 45, off Jones, was not held, but 46 after 6 overs, including a straight 6 to Shayne off Ntuli. In the 7th, Smith's first, 3x4 to Shayne. At 80 in the 14th Birty (18, 30b 2x4) sweeping, was bowled by Ntuli.

Nik entered at 3 & hit Ntuli for 2x4 in the 16th & 3x4 in the 18th. Shayne  responded by taking 2x4 of Smith in the 19th. In the 20th Stanyon's first Shayne took 3x4 & Nik 1x4 as 18 were scored & the target was reached in the next as Foreman's first ball was driven to long off along the ground by Shayne 87* (76b,12x4,2x6), Nik 25* (18b, 6x4), a very comprehensive win by 9 wickets. Some exhilarating shot making from both Shayne & Nik.
