Bell and Paton join South North

South Northumberland Cricket Club are delighted to announce the signing of batsman Sol Bell. Having piled on the runs for Durham 2nd XI over the last few years, he will bring yet more quality to our 1st XI squad. A product of Sacriston's successful junior set-up, Sol is also a dymanic fielder and brings with him significant NEPL experience for such a young player. Sol is a great addition to the club and we wish him every success at Roseworth Terrace during the 2021 season.
The club are also pleased to announce that Gavin Paton has joined us ahead of the 2021 campaign. Gavin has coached on programmes at both the North East Cricket Academy and South North Bulls over the last few years, and we are pleased that he has also decided to play his cricket with us going forward. Having turned out for Tudhoe last season, Gavin comes with a wealth of experience after previous playing spells in the NEPL, the Yorkshire Premier League North and the Cheshire Cricket League. Gavin is another excellent addition to our senior squad and we look forward to him having success at the club.
