SNCC won by 8 wickets.
Offering a 2nd X1 debut to Aryan Kalluri & a further opportunities to Archit Upadhye, Elliott Mee & Leo Harper, the Bulls faced Shotley Bridge who won the toss & chose to bat. Fyfe & Hegarty faced the left arm seam of Danny Collins & right arm seam of Ben Hobbs.
A run out in over one saw Hegarty (0) fail to beat Leo's throw to Danny at the bowler's end 16-1 after 5 overs then in the 6th Boneham (8) was bowled by Ben Hobbs, 16-2. Aryan (rm) & Leo (rm) bowled the next 5 overs during which two more wickets fell.
At 29 in the 9th Fyfe (15) drove to mid on where Ben Sid took the catch off Aryan & in his next Nesbit (6) was bowled, 46-4. Elliott Mee began a spell in the 12th & then Archit in the 15th. At 66 in the 14th H Archbold (6) was bowled by Elliott.
In the next M Golightly (18) was caught by Olly Alexander at deep mid wicket off Archit & one over later Green (0) was bowled by Elliott, 71-7. Some resistance followed but in over 19 D Golightly (7) was lbw to Archit, 84-8.
In the last over bowled by Danny, Archbold (5) was run out when Ben Hobbs throw from cover to the bowler defeated his attempt to take a single, 96-9 at the close.
In reply Sam Ewart & Olly Alexander faced the seam of Boneham & Askew. The total had reached 29 in the 7th when Olly (15, 20b 1x4) was bowled by Boneham. Nick Tomlinson struck 4.6.2 from M Golightly's first over. Sam followed taking Hegarty for 1,4,4,6 from a no ball, to raise the total to 64 after 9 overs.
In the next Sam (28, 25b 4x4,1x6) was lbw to M Golightly, 65-2. Angus joined Nick & the end came swiftly as 27 runs came from the next 2 overs including 3x4 to Angus & 2x4 to Nick, the match ending from the last ball of the 12th over, Nick 30* (20b 4x4 1x6) Angus 19* (10b 4x4), a comprehensive win by 8 wickets.
