Over the past seventeen years, this mixed event has become one of the top sporting dinners on the North East business circuit. The venue is again at our magnificent centre in central Gosforth which offers bars and seating for over 500 people. South North CC is committed to investing in junior and ladies cricket as well as being home to one of the most successful club sides in the country. This dinner raises vital funds for our continuing activities.
We are keen that not only will this be an outstanding evening of entertainment and good food, but that there will be ample time to network with your business and social friends.
Our main celebrity speaker will be recent England cricket captain Michael Vaughan OBE. Michael captained England 51 times, winning 26 (a national record) including the memorable victorious 2005 Ashes series against Australia. He is now a popular cricket TV commentator and speaker at corporate events. Our host for the evening will be local comedy entertainer Brendan Healy. Brendan began as a musician with the legendary Lindisfarne, before moving into television and comedy and is one of the most sought after comedy speakers available.
