Under 9's & Under 11's Clubs

U9’s club

Critical to the long term athletic development of children is early exposure to the core skills that develop hand/eye coordination and spatial awareness. Through these junior clubs, children from 5 years can learn new skills at their own pace and with fun, in a enjoyable environment. Through cricket, club members will develop balance, coordination as well as cooperation and teamwork.

In order to control the number of children attending, boys and girls must register with us by joining the winter club. They will then be assigned a time to come and play. To keep the standard of coaching high, players will initially be grouped by age. To ensure maximum benefit, children may be advised to change group at the coach’s discretion.

There will be a maximum of 40 children in each group so places are limited. They will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.  The club will be split into two blocks, one before and one after Christmas.  For every session there will be food and refreshments available to purchase, so parents can share a drink in the bar or read the papers on the balcony whilst the little ones are in safe hands.
